Cailin Blanchard
Cailin Blanchard has been a student of Herbal Medicine for almost 15 years. Originally, she is from Blackfoot Territory, or Calgary, Alberta, and began her learning with the wild plants of the Rocky Mountains, foothills and the prairies there. Completing her studies at Wild Rose College, she is also working on finishing her hours to register as a Clinical Herbalist in BC. Cailin has participated in various retreats, workshops, apprenticeships and the like over the years. She has also taught multiple workshops about foraging, cooking with wild foods, growing and harvesting medicinal herbs, medicine making, and more.
First and foremost, she believes that the deepest transformation comes directly from the plants, as well as connection with the land, Spirit, and our inner creativity. Cailin is very grateful to live, work, and learn on the unceded traditional territories of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples, also known as the Songhees and Esquimalt peoples, as well as the territories of the W’SANEC peoples, and surrounding communities. In working with the living plants on the land, she often reflects on the people who have lived on Turtle Island since time immemorial and have stewarded these lands to help them thrive into their most beautiful. She acknowledges the colonial histories of Herbal Medicine in North America and that Indigenous peoples have generously shared much knowledge with the colonizers, creating the foundation of our knowledge base for native medicinal plants here in Canada.

Jun Liu
Trained in both China and Canada, Jun brings a unique, dual-perspective approach to the clinic, bridging the profound wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with a modern clinical understanding of the body. She believes that true health is rooted in a balanced and harmonious internal system and the ability to adapt to the external environment.
A Specialized Clinical Approach - Applied Channel Theory: Jun’s clinical work is informed by Applied Channel Theory. This specialized system, based on the teachings of Dr. Wang Ju-Yi, utilizes channel palpation to identify physiological changes in the body’s meridian system. By examining the channels for specific diagnostic signs, she works to develop a treatment plan that addresses the underlying patterns of disharmony. This precise, results-oriented method allows her to provide focused and effective care, particularly within the community acupuncture setting
